Each family receives a dedicated parent educator who will provide direct teaching related to typical hearing, hearing differences, language development, modes of communication, and amplification options. Building your knowledge of brain development, language and communication development, and technology options will guide you as you create the framework you want to establish for your child’s life.

Beginnings MD with provide you with opportunities to meet other families at varying points along the journey of raising a child with a hearing difference. These experiences will assist you as you design your family’s path forward.

Beginnings MD as already done the leg-work for you in learning about what medical, educational, and social resources are readily available to your family. Your parent educator will help you make sense of the resources established to support your child and family.

Parent Educators provide a parent-child group to teach you to engage all of your child’s senses through vibrations, sounds, vision, and movement. Join this fun and informative class to actively begin learning to be your child’s primary language teacher!
